He was VERY thorough in his inspection even with a house that is only 2 years old. You can walk through the inspection with Mark and when done, he will go over any items of concern with you . Mark was fantastic, I have owned many rental properties over the years, and am knowledgeable of the details required for a great home inspection. This inspections was for our own home to live in, so I wanted an independent view. He was punctual, great communication and knew building language, not just spoke from a computer generated sheet and listing items off a list. Mark took time to explain potential issues in detail, and small tings that could be fixed easily. This was my first experience with him, and I would absolutely recommend his great eyes and attention to details as an inspector. Mike Minore was the most conscientious, detailed and professional home inspector I have ever used. I did an internet search for home inspection services in Punta Gorda, FL. Crown Home Inspection was in results. The website included references to professional credentials and scope of service. It was the most professional representation of a home inspection service in my area. I called and Mark was professional and informative compared to another company. I have been on the selling end of a home inspection report and have had negative results(in NJ and PA) but I must say this time on the buying end I have to say it was an incredible experience. Mark M. did the inspection and allowed me to follow him to observe first hand his observations. He thoroughly explained all of his results and took many pictures, which he included in his report! When we visited the West Cost in March, 2016, and after spending hours upon hours of looking at properties, we found a nice Villa in Englewood that wanted to purchase.  Not being from Florida we had many concerns about the construction, mechanicals and overall condition of this home we were about to purchase.  

Mark from Crown Home Inspection assured us that he would thoroughly review all of these components and then some. 

When we received Mark’s report, we were very impressed on how complete it was.  it contained very useful information about the home, not only the condition of the visible areas, but the age of the mechanicals as well as the structural components of the roof and the building conditions as well.  He also provided us with many pictures and a detailed report of every area within the home. The wind Mitigation report also saved us monies on our insurance costs. Mark also supplied us with a complete building report from the Town of Englewood which showed all building permits that were taken out and the scope of the project.

I would highly recommend Crown Home Inspection.  The cost was minimal compared to the valuable information that was provided.  We love our new home and we feel comfortable that Mark did an excellent job with the inspection as well as providing us with a report that was well written in layman terms.
